Group bookings

Let multiple people book the same time slot — classes, workshops, and group sessions

By default a BookMe time slot holds one booking (a 1:1 meeting). Group bookings let several people register for the same slot — perfect for a class, workshop, webinar, or any session with more than one attendee.

Turn a calendar into a group calendar

Set Capacity per time slot to more than 1. You can do this in two places:

  • When creating a booking page — on the More settings step of the create wizard, set the capacity (and an optional buffer between meetings).
  • On an existing booking page — open the calendar's settings and go to the Capacity tab.

Capacity 1 keeps the page a normal one-on-one calendar. Anything higher turns each slot into a shared session that stays bookable until it fills up. Changing the capacity applies immediately, and existing registrations are always kept if you lower it.

What guests see — slot availability display

For group calendars you choose how much each visitor sees on a slot, under Slot availability display:

  • Hidden (default) — guests see no numbers. Good for a new class you don't want to look empty.
  • Spots remaining — shows "N left" (and "Full" when the session is full), which adds urgency without revealing exact attendance.
  • Booked count — shows "booked / capacity" (e.g. 7/10).

A full slot is always shown as disabled, whichever option you pick. The live preview on the right of the Capacity tab shows exactly what guests will see.

How registration works

  • Everyone who registers for the same slot shares one calendar event and meeting link (no duplicate events per attendee).
  • The same email address can register for a session only once.
  • When the session is full, the slot is shown but can't be booked.

Managing a group session

In Bookings, a group session is one upcoming meeting that lists each attendee, so you can see the full roster, mark attendance, or cancel the whole session in one place.
